Our Story
Where it all began...
Ibizamode was born in 2012 from a wild idea: Ibiza became our island, and we wanted to bring that vibe back to the Netherlands. We had no set plan, but we did have a mission. With two empty suitcases and a deep love for bohemian fashion and that carefree island vibe, we—brother and sister, Roy & Tamara—set off for Ibiza. We brought back everything that inspired us.
Ibiza became all the rage. Our online community grew rapidly, and with a showroom at our office and Ibiza-themed events across the country, Ibiza fashion became a household name. But the Netherlands wanted more than just online shopping. People wanted to feel the fabrics, see the colors, and truly experience that ultimate Ibiza vibe.
Ibizamode in pictures: our photo shoots in Ibiza
From the very first moment, Ibiza has been the setting for all of our photo shoots. This magical island embodies exactly the vibe we want to convey: freedom, sun, beach, and that quintessential laid-back bohemian style.
We know all the hidden spots, the most beautiful bays and the most charming fincas. That unique Ibiza vibe is reflected in all our campaigns, photos, and videos. We’ll take you to the island—right from your screen.
And our tips? We’d love to share them with you, of course! On our social media and in our blogs, we’ll help you discover the best spots in Ibiza.
From suitcases to stores & global growth
The first Ibiza-style boutique in Den Bosch was a reality. Not long after, stores opened in Noordwijk and Egmond aan Zee. Every store embodies our style: sun, beach, sea, and the luxury of an Ibiza finca. A place where you can feel like you’re on vacation, even if just for an hour.
In the meantime, our own collection has grown. While we once started out carrying various brands, we made a conscious decision to carry only our own label, ibzmode. This allows us to determine the design of our collections and where they are produced, without compromising on quality or style.
And we continued to grow. ibzmode can now be found in the most beautiful boutiques, from France to Greece, from Ibiza to Curaçao. With more than 200 retail locations worldwide and our first franchise stores in Curaçao and Madeira, we’re continuing to put Ibiza fashion on the international map.
Ibizamode today: we're continuing to build
We believe that ibizamode is more than just a brand—it’s a lifestyle. With our shop-in-shop concept, we’re continuing to expand our network and bringing the Ibiza vibe to more and more stores. In June 2023, we opened the ibzmode store Curaçao, followed by the Brands of Ibiza store in Delft.

In addition, we’re building our own collections: fashion, home accessories, jewelry, and bohemian essentials, all crafted with care and passion. We partner with small-scale manufacturers in India and Bali, where craftsmanship and quality are our top priorities.
Ibizamode: a family atmosphere
Our name is ibizamode, but we’re about more than just fashion. It’s a lifestyle, a feeling, a way of life. And we’d love to share that with you—in our stores, online, or through one of our many retail partners worldwide.
