Cala Bassa
We think Cala Bassa is absolutely amazing! Cala Bassa is a beach to the west of Ibiza. When you arrive, you immediately enjoy an incredible view. What makes this beach so beautiful is the white sand and the crystal-clear water that colors turquoise. This beach definitely belongs on your Ibiza bucket list!
CBBC Ibiza, Bed rental at Cala Bassa Ibiza
In the shade, under the pine trees, you’ll find Beachclub CBBC, which stands for Cala Bassa Beach Club. You can’t miss this club, as it’s literally spread out over the whole bay. Great for a drink and the food is also very good, but a bit pricey. Of course, you can make Ibiza as expensive as you want. On part of the beach are the CBBC sunbeds, and you can also rent a private bed under the trees. We often find it just as nice to lie on a beach towel next to the sunbeds. Nice and old school with the sand between your toes. They also walk around with coolers to provide you with a nice cold drink. At CBBC the DJ plays the real Ibiza sound of lounge and deep house, and all together this creates that wonderful vibe we all love so much!

The water is shallow with very fine sand at the beginning, so taking a dip here is highly recommended and it’s wonderful for swimming. You can also climb the rocks to take a refreshing dive into the clear water. Cala Bassa is very popular and the bay is not large, so during peak season you’ll be quite close to others. We like to come here in the off-season and shoulder season.

Summertime Cala Bassa Ibiza
CBBC is an insanely good beach club filled with bars, lounge sofas and beds, fun beach shops, and an area with beds for massages. You can also rent a bed on the beach, and the service is absolutely top-notch! The menu features traditional dishes from Ibiza made with beautiful fresh local products. The cocktails are definitely recommended! Tip: Lunching at CBBC is not exactly cheap. They also have an Italian section, Portobello, which is much more affordable than the regular CBBC restaurant. You’ll find Portobello all the way at the back of the bay. A real LOW budget tip is, of course, to bring some tasty food yourself to the beach.
