Ibizamode Goes Curaçao : "Hey, we want a store like that on our resort too"
Imagine: you are on vacation on the beautiful island of Curaçao , staying at a luxury resort and while exploring you are surprised by a shop that looks familiar. It is the style, the atmosphere, the collection that you recognize from Ibiza fashion. And that's exactly right :) ibizamode is going international and has opened a store on Curaçao!

From Ibiza to the Caribbean sun
It all started with a phone call from the Van der Valk Kontiki Beach Resort in Curaçao . "What can Ibizamode do for our boutique on Curaçao?", they asked. We, as a team of Ibizamode, felt honored. A resort like Van der Valk approaching us to start a cooperation, that is a dream come true.
I packed my suitcase, flew to the Caribbean sun (love my job ;) and checked in with a big surprise being a stay in a beautiful new suite at Kontiki Beach Resort. I must confess, for a moment I felt like a true celebrity. There I was, lying in my private pool overlooking the white beaches of Toucan Beach. A moment to remember, so.... just facetime with my love.

Hospitality at its best
But it wasn't just the resort that impressed me. It was especially the people. I was received so lovingly by John & Anita. They will manage the shop along with the team there. The hospitality and kindness of the resort staff was also very nice. I immediately felt at home and welcome. The service? A big 10! And that is exactly what Ibizamode also stands for: a warm welcome and an unforgettable experience.
A match made in heaven
It soon became clear that Ibizamode and Van der Valk are a match made in heaven. Our style, vision and passion for quality and experience matched seamlessly. The deal was quickly closed. Ibizamode goes international and opens an ibzmode shop on Curacao where the sun always shines. Time for a photo opportunity, here you see the store as it was before the renovation.

Shopping with a Caribbean touch
But we are also adding a Caribbean touch to our collection. Especially for our ibzmode Shop in Curacao, we have selected items that fit perfectly with island life. Airy fabrics and a touch of tropical glamour. This way we create a unique blend of Ibiza-style and Caribbean flair. In the future we will even design collections especially for the Caribian and we may also provide the outfits for over 200 staff members.
An unforgettable shopping experience
And then the store itself. Roy, my brother and a top designer if I do say so myself, has again designed a shop that is completely ibzmode and this time with a Caribbean touch. The team at Konitiki Beach Resort completely rebuilt the shop in a few weeks, so that we could get to work on the interior design and styling.
Curacao, the construction with our dream team
A week before the opening I went to this lovely island again. This time together with Roy, his wife Nicole and Bo, my daughter, to get the store ready for the opening in one week.
Again we did our utmost to create the ultimate shopping experience as you already find in the stores in Noordwijk, Egmond aan zee and Den Bosch. Together with the team of Koniki Beach Resort it went very smoothly and we even had some time to enjoy the island and the resort.
