The origin of Luli Fama
Her crib stood on Cuba and she grew up in Miami. It is therefore not surprising that Lourdes 'Luli' Hanimian developed a lot of interest in swimwear. Luli and her brother-in-law Augusto Hanimian are the creative forces behind the Luli Fama label. The design duo met in 1990 when they both worked for Augusto's aunt, a well-known swimwear designer. Together, Luli and Augusto gained a lot of experience on how to develop, produce and launch bikinis and bathing suits. In 2003 they started with their own label: Luli Fama was born.
